How can I register for ProdHacks?
Applications are now open for ProdHacks until February 13th. Applicants can apply as individuals or groups. For more information, visit our application page at ProdHacks.com/apply.
Who can participate in ProdHacks?
ProdHacks welcomes students from all graduate and undergraduate programs in any year of study, including non-technical students. Previous winners have ranged from first-year undergraduates to final-year graduate students, and successful teams often have diversity of talent and specialties.
When and where is the event taking place?
The event will be hosted at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from February 15th - 22nd. Attendance for all days is mandatory for participants.
Are there networking opportunities at the event?
Yes. All sponsors will host panel and/or recruitment events to speak to ProdHacks participants.
Are travel reimbursements provided?
Unfortunately, because ProdHacks is a week long, we are unable to provide travel and acommodation for participants.
Do participants just ideate, or actually build something?
Teams are expected to build features or product prototypes, although the way they do so is up to their discretion. This could mean full deployment of an iOS app, using Lovable to add a feature to an existing platform, or creating renders of upgraded interfaces.
How many tracks can I participate in?
Approved applicants can participate in all tracks, although each track requires a diferent submission. No single project fits the requirements of all three tracks. By default, all participants participate in the Product track.
